

Four Seasons 2011 Board The board members serve on the board for three years on a voluntary basis. The board meets approximately once a month throughout the year. If you really want to help Four Seasons continue to be a wonderful way to spend the summer, join the Board! We are still looking for a Marketing Chair, Maintenance Chair and Treasurer. Pam Miske/President—Pam served as treasurer and then took over the job of President her last year on the board. We want to thank Pam for the many hours she put into each job. Bridget Minnis/Vice President—Bridget was Vice President and did a great job overseeing all the snack bar operations. Jim Hastings/Maintenance—Jim did had the large task of opening the pool and keeping it run- ning throughout the year. Thank you all once again! Four Seasons remains a wonderful place to spend the summer thanks to all your hard work! Thank you to Outgoing Board Members! Membership Dues Dues will be $350 for family membership. This is an exceptional value! We have a new water heater and lots of fun activities planned. *Please note dues not received by 5/1/11 WILL BE RETURNED and will have to include a late fee charge of $15 before being accepted. NO POOL USAGE WILL BE PERMITTED until membership fees and applicable late charges are paid in full. Dues that are paid on time allow for expenses to be met and chemicals, material and stock to be purchased in bulk at lower costs. Timely payment helps keep everyone’s annual fee low and is very much appreciated. Where Your Money is Spent at Four Seasons Membership Benefits As always, members are encouraged to utilize the Four Seasons facility as their summer entertainment venue. This is a free of charge benefit for all Four Seasons members. All non-member guests will be charged standard rates as visitors. If interested, please schedule with Melissa Cobb. Back again after popular demand, pre-paid guest passes are available at a rate of 10 for $30. Guest passes can only be used when attending the pool with a member. This is a $10 savings over the normal cost of $4 each pass at the door. Pool Schedule This year, in an effort to keep costs down, when the Centerville Schools are in session, the pool will close at 8pm. On these days the snack bar will not be open. Also, throughout the entire season, the snack bar will now close one hour before the pool does at the end of the last rest break. Employment Opportunities Employment applications may be requested through the Contact Us form on the website. An application will be EMailed to you. You may mail completed applications to PO Box 292065, Dayton, OH 45429. Applications are due by 4/30/11. Applicants are evaluated on membership, experience, prior work experience and good references. All employees must provide a copy of photo ID and birth certificate or social security card before beginning work at Four Seasons. Lifeguards must be certified, and when applying, have copies of documentation. Red Cross Certification Red Cross Certification may be obtained through the YMCA and the public pools. Activities at Breaks for Kids PG Movie Night * We need a someone to volunteer to be in charge of movie nights! June 12th – School’s Out Pizza Night 5:30 PM – $2.00 per person includes Pizza, Chips and Soda Chuck a Duck! Teen Nights - June 23rd and August 11th - 94.5 NIGHT! All middle school and high school students are welcome $5.00 members and $7.00 non-members We provide dinner, soft drinks and chips! Fun Activites during breaks! July 3rd- Elementary School night - 5:45 - close $2.00 per kid includes hotdog and lemonade games and contests! July 4th – Picnic and Potluck – RED, WHITE AND POOL! Decorate your bike or vehicle of choice and join us in our first annual 4th of July parade!!! Hamburgers and Hotdogs on the grill for sale too! Activities start at noon - parade starts at 1:30! I feel extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to work with the Four Seasons community this summer! My name is Melissa Cobb, and I will be managing the pool this year. This coming fall I will be a senior at the University of Dayton. I am studying Middle Childhood Education, concentrating in Reading Language Arts, Science as well as Social Studies. I would consider myself a people-person; please do not be afraid to reach out to me! I really look forward to meeting new and returning pool members! I am originally from Michigan; however, my family moved to Centerville just over ten years ago. I swam competitively through middle and high school, and started lifeguarding at the age of 15. I hope for a successful pool season. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to serve you or your families! Let’s hope the weather is great this summer! Notes from Swim Team Coordinator Swim Team Sign-ups will be Saturday Jun 5 from 9:30-11:30 AM at the pool. Kastaway will be present for your swim suit and equipment needs. The team will use the same suit as last year. Swimmers can buy a new suit or continue to use last years. Preorder is available via calling Kastaway Swimwear at 1- 800-543-2763 (request for delivery at Team Sign-up day).
